These are my personal stories I have written. Some of my stories I have written, I had my teacher, Mrs. Petty, help with a few stories. I have also written something that has been published in a book. I had written a poem about my mom called "Special Recipe"  when I was in 8th grade, and it has been accepted and published. 

As a child, I used to hate reading, but I would fascinate writing stories. I found a couple books I liked though as well. In 5th grade, I found a book called Inkling which got me more into reading, and then I found a book in 9th grade called Into the Wild Light. Those books made me love reading a lot more. I think the more harder books I read, the more I can grasp from the books and pick up how they write and somehow put that into how I write. 

I have always found a passion for writing short stories, especially creepy ones. I feel like short stories are a good read if you like reading but you don't wanna read a huge book; just a quick-read. I enjoy spending the time sitting down and writing stories and reading them to my family. I am still working on enhancing my writing skills to elevate the quality of my work. I think I have a good talent for writing short stories and I may attempt to publish a short book in the future.
